Buttercream, sprinkles and yummy vanilla GLUTEN FREE* sponge cake. It does get more perfect than a classic birthday cake.
If you are looking to impressive your friends by making the BEST birthday cake ever, then this is the class for you! Plus, we're going to be making our cakes for this class using Gluten Free flour!
This class is suitable for all levels of cake decorating and ideal for beginners. In this workshop you will learn:
- how to make our classic vanilla sponge cake using gluten free flour
- how to make swiss meringue buttercream and how to add flavour
- how to cut, fill and stack a cake
- how to cover a cake with buttercream to achieve a smooth and sharp finish
- how to colour buttercream, learning about what colours work together
- how to add piped buttercream details
- how to decorate the cake with a high standard finish – sprinkles included!
Each participant will decorate their own cake and take it home to enjoy!
You will be working on pre-made cakes. Prices do not include VAT.
*Whilst we will do everything we can to maintain a gluten free environment, we will be using the same equipment, mixers and ovens as our gluten cakes and therefore cannot guarantee 100% free of gluten.
